She studies how discourses, social norms, and affordances of advanced technology combine to shape autonomy and control in contemporary careers. She is also interested in how different aspects of social identity (e.g., gender, nationality, accent, etc.) interact to shape a person’s image and affect how they are perceived and evaluated at work.
