AMR Team Leader, CGIAR System Organization Arshnee is a microbiologist who has been working on antimicrobial resistance for 20 years. She is the leader of the CGIAR Antimicrobial Resistance Hub and is the AMR team lead at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya. She is jointly appointed as an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her research focuses on drivers of antimicrobial use, selection and spread of AMR, understanding AMR policies and identifying context relevant AMU reducing interventions in smallholder farming systems in sub-Saharan Africa and south-east Asia.
