Research Fellow, ARC Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course, The University of Queensland Dr Ella Kuskoff is a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland. Her work focuses on three core manifestations of disadvantage: Domestic violence, poverty, and engagement in statutory child protection systems. Her work considers how these manifestations of disadvantage coalesce and compound in complex and often detrimental ways. She also considers how people’s (and particularly women’s) experiences of these forms of disadvantage are situated within and impacted by broader structural, policy, and service provision contexts.
