Juxi is a researcher at Australian Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision (ACRV) focussing on Robotics, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. He started the Brisbane AI and Brisbane Robotics umbrella organisations to help grow the local ecosystem and knowledge about these important technologies in the general public.
Before joining the ACRV node in Peter Corke's lab at QUT he worked at the IDSIA Robotics Lab and received a PhD from the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) for his work on robotic learning for visual perception and actions on the iCub humanoid.
Previously Juxi worked on Space Security and AI at the Advanced Concepts Team of the European Space Agency. He graduated in Space Robotics from the Joint European Master Programme (SpaceMaster) at Aalto (TKK) and the Kiruna Space Campus (LTU). He also holds a BSc in Computer Science (Software and Information Engineering).
