I am Associate Professor of Philosophy and Core Member of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario. I research in the areas of normative ethics and the history of ethics. I am the author of *Sidgwick's Ethics* (forthcoming from Cambridge University Press) and the editor (with Lisa Forsberg, Isra Black and Jonathan Herring) of *Consenting Children: Autonomy, Well-being, Responsibility* (forthcoming from Oxford University Press). In 2019-20, I was Graham and Gail Wright Distinguished Scholar in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Western University. In 2015, I was awarded the Arts and Humanities Teaching Excellence Award. In 2021-22 I will be on sabbatical leave working on a number of papers in normative ethics.
