SOAS, University of LondonJonathan R. Beloff PhD, is a researcher focusing on the foreign, regional and internal politics of the African Great Lakes. He has published several academic journal articles, book chapters, book reviews and editorials on issues facing central and east Africa. He also published a book focusing on Rwandan foreign policy titled, Foreign Policy in Post-Genocide Rwanda: Elite Perceptions of Global Engagement. Since 2008, his travels to the region led him to work and consult with numerous Rwandan and international government officials to engage and consult with a range of different actors such as Rwandan elites and policymakers and foreign officials.
