PhD Candidate, University of Bath Ammar Azzouz is a researcher in architecture. His research focuses on the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the architecture, construction and engineering industry, and the possible ways to evaluate its implementation in businesses. Ammar studied Architecture at Al-Baath University, Homs, Syria before moving to the UK to complete his MSc in Project Management in Construction at the University of Salford. His masters dissertation focused on Post-Disasters Reconstruction: Post War Beirut and Post Wall Berlin. Ammar joined the University of Bath, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2010 to study his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Alexander Copping and Dr. Paul Shepherd.
