Research Psychologist and Senior Lecturer in Child and Family Wellbeing, Northumbria University, Newcastle My research explores autism from a strengths based perspective, with a specific focus on understanding and supporting communication abilities in children with autism who use little or no spoken language. My work also focuses on children and young people's mental health, with a particular emphasis on promoting resilience in children and families.
