Luciano Rispoli

Teaching Fellow in Economics, University of Surrey
Luciano received his undergraduate degree in Economics in 2009 from Bocconi University. During his undergraduate degree he spent 6 months as an exchange student at the Australian National University (Canberra, Australia).

He then obtained a MSc in International Economics and Finance with distinction from the University of Sheffield in 2011. After his masters, he pursued his doctoral studies at Birkbeck College - University of London where he also worked as a Teaching Assistant and sessional Associate Lecturer. At Birkbeck, he was awarded an honourable mention for Best PhD thesis in the School of Business, Economics and Informatics and a Teaching excellence prize.

In 2016 he joined the University of Warwick as a Teaching Fellow where he taught Monetary Economics (MSc) and undergraduate micro and macroeconomics. In 2019 he joined the School of Economics at Surrey University where he currently teaches finance and econometrics at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as DSGE Bayesian estimation methods in the CIMS Summer School. His research interests lie in monetary policy, macroeconomic forecasting and central banking.
