I am a Lecturer in Human Nutrition at the University of Reading, UK. My research interests are focused around the impact of dietary bioactive compounds on cardiovascular and associated diseases and I use randomised controlled trials to investigate this. At present I have projects looking at inorganic nitrate in green leafy vegetables and beetroot, l-citrulline in watermelon and many different bioactives in coffee.
