Senior Lecturer of Physics and Astronomy, Clemson University
I am a Senior Lecturer in Physics and Astronomy. I am a non-tenure-track faculty whose focus is on the teaching mission of the university. I work with students in general education physics courses and engage them through the promotion of critical thinking, interpretation of real-world situations and assessing information. I am a faculty senate delegate, facilitator of a faculty learning community on Large Enrollment General Education Courses and am active in community outreach. I teach the Physics of Sports, an introductory course designed to draw students into taking physics who otherwise would have this experience.
