Ph.D. Student in Computer Science, University of Maryland Elissa is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, with a concentration in Survey Methodology, at the University of Maryland. Her work focuses on understanding how users make security decisions and developing security education interventions for at-risk users. Elissa is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, a Facebook Fellow, and was a 2015 University of Chicago Data Science for Social Good Fellow. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D. she was a Marketing Manager for IBM, and also developed curriculum and studied computer science education.
