I'm Jess Maddox, an assistant professor in the Department of Journalism and Creative Media at the University of Alabama. I am also Co-director of the Office of Politics, Communication and Media in the Institute for Communication and Information Research and graduate faculty affiliate in the College of Communication and Information Science's doctoral program. I research social media platforms, internet popular culture, and feminist media studies through qualitative research methods.
