Johann Laux is a postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, working on the Governance of Emerging Technologies Programme. His research focuses on the governance of AI and Big Data, institutional design, and regulatory law. He holds a Dr iur from the University of Hamburg, an MSc in politics and government from the London School of Economics, as well as a mag iur and a bac iur in law from the University of Hamburg. He was an Emile Noël Fellow at New York University in 2019.
