Dr. Jasieniak brings a wealth of industrial and academic research experience in the areas of energy materials and technology. He has technical expertise in a solar cell, energy storage and light emitting device development, having worked on numerous multi-million dollar projects within various junior and senior roles at CSIRO and now at an Associate Professor at Monash University. He previously founded Lucent Media, a start-up commercialising electroluminescent devices for the marketing sector. Dr. Jasieniak is also currently the Director of the Monash Energy Materials and Systems Institute (MEMSI) - the overarching energy-related front for Monash University to industry, government and the public. His most notable awards include being a Bragg Award Winner, recipient of the University Medal at Flinders University, winner of the Chancellor's Prize at Melbourne University for best PhD thesis, Fulbright fellow and Tall Poppy Award Winner.
