Senior Lecturer in Ecology and Conservation, Centre for Applied Climate Sciences, University of Southern Queensland
I'm a senior lecturer in Ecology and Conservation, at the University of Southern Queensland. I conduct research into how climate impacts the natural environment and agricultural production. My research is multi-disciplinary and carried out in a range of environmental (e.g. forests, rivers, aquifers) and agricultural settings (e.g. pasture, cropping, horticulture). My research focuses on identifying, quantifying and informing the management of climate variability and change on agricultural and natural systems. My research, being carried out across a range of natural systems, has allowed me to draw on insights from multiple areas (e.g. agriculture, ecology, climatology, hydrology and economics). This has given me the opportunity to transfer and integrate knowledge between each of these disciplines.
