Jose Caballero

Senior Economist, IMD World Competitiveness Center, International Institute for Management Development (IMD)
Dr José Caballero leads the IMD World Competitiveness Center’s research team in the development and implementation of new models of assessing competitiveness. His research interests focus on the sources of the competitiveness of countries and, more specifically, on the competitiveness of enterprises.

José is an expert on the political economy of Latin America and has taught at the University of Warwick (UK) and the University of the West of England (Bristol, UK). He holds a PhD (Politics and International Studies) from the University of Warwick and an MA (Social Science: Government) from Harvard University.
