Dr. Thomas Froehlich is a visiting research fellow at the Department of War Studies at King's College London. His research examines the geopolitics of the global energy transition. Previously, Thomas held an ESRC-funded postdoctoral fellowship and held an appointment as the associate director and editor at a think tank working on energy and natural resources. He completed his PhD in International Relations at King's Brazil Institute with a study of Brazil's international ethanol diplomacy.
