Associate Professor, Political Science, University of Guelph Adam Sneyd is an Associate Professor with the Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph. He is the co-author of Commodity Politics: Contesting Responsibility in Cameroon (McGill-Queen's 2022), and the author of Politics Rules: Power Globalization and Development (Fernwood Publishing and Practical Action Publishing, 2019), Cotton (Polity Press, 2016) and Governing Cotton: Globalization and Poverty in Africa (Palgrave MacMillan, 2011). Adam's research focuses on the global politics of commodities, and has emphasized food, resource and development challenges in African contexts.
