Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist, The University of Queensland Dr Minyon Avent is an Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacist at the Queensland Statewide Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and a Consultant Clinical Research Pharmacist at The University of Queensland Centre. She has many years of experience in developing and implementing programmes for the appropriate use of antibiotics in tertiary health care institutions, rural and regional areas as well as the general practice setting. Her research interests are the optimisation of antibiotics.
