Co-editor of Partners in Suspense: Critical Essays on Bernard Herrmann and Alfred Hitchcock (Manchester UP, 2017), and co-author of Basics Film-Making: The Language of Film (Bloomsbury, 2015). Published more broadly on aspects of cult Japanese cinema in a transnational context, including Takashi Miike and Godzilla movies, and independent American cinema. Regular contributor to the Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York.
