Aloysius Odii is a Ph.D. candidate of demography and population studies in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the same institution before eventually becoming an assistant lecturer in Sociology/Anthropology department, in 2017. In addition to teaching, Aloysius is a passionate researcher and writer. He was the secretariat for the team that developed a corruption prevention training manual for Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN), a project funded by the European Union in 2017. His research interests includes health, migration, corruption and social media. He is currently working on adolescent sexual behaviour.
