John Budarick is a lecturer in media. His research areas are ethnic minority media, diasporas, and transnational media.
He completed his PhD at Monash University in 2011, focusing on the media use and production of Iranian migrants. His current research involves ethnic media production and the potential links with the mainstream public sphere.
He has previously taught at Flinders University, Macquarie University, University of Melbourne and Monash University.
