Darren J. Lipomi is an associate professor in the Department of NanoEngineering at the University of California San Diego. He earned his PhD degree in chemistry from Harvard University in 2010, and was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University from 2010 to 2012. He is a recipient of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research Young Investigator Award and the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award. His current research focuses on the mechanical properties of electronic materials for applications in energy and health care.
