Sylvanus Kwaku Afesorgbor

Assistant Professor, Agri-Food Trade and Policy, University of Guelph
I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics (FARE), University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Prior to my current position, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Tuborg Research Centre for Globalization and Firms of Aarhus University, Denmark, as well as, a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of European University Institute, Florence, Italy. My research and teaching experiences are in the areas of International Political Economy, Globalization and Development, Impact Evaluation and Applied Econometrics, Agricultural Trade and Development, Gender Economics. Apart from academic work, I consult occasionally for international organizations such as the African Development Bank, Ivory Coast and International Trade Centre, Switzerland.
