I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University. I completed my PhD at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, exploring contemporary North American Jewish philanthropy as exhibited in the case of the UJA-Federation of New York. My research interests include the contemporary structure of community philanthropy, faith based philanthropy, public policy and philanthropy, cross border and diaspora philanthropy toward Israel. My research expertise is in Jewish and Israeli philanthropy, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the behavior, growth and change of philanthropic organizations by exploring large data sets of philanthropic communities.
