Assistant Professor of Psychology, Rowan University Our knowledge is neither perfect nor complete. We are often confused, ignorant, mistaken, or completely wrong. What determines whether these moments will lead to growth and discovery, or defensiveness and discouragement? I am interested in the psychological processes that make growth possible for imperfect humans navigating imperfect systems. My work combines behavioral studies of children, adolescents, and adults and large field experiments. I also have expertise in evaluation science. I completed a PhD at Stanford University, an IES postdoctoral fellowship at UC Davis, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania funded by my grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
