Professor Gordon's areas of interest are entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, the biomedical industry (pharmaceuticals, devices and biotechnology), venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and digital and mobile marketing. He also is a professor at the School of Law.
He has served on the faculty and as Associate Dean and Director of the Graduate Division of Business & Management (Carey Business School) at Johns Hopkins University, where he taught in the business and medical schools and at the University of Florida, where he also served as director of the Center for Technology & Science Commercialization Studies and as Director of MBA Programs. He has served as an adviser or co-founder to numerous companies.
He is frequently quoted in The New York Times, BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Reuters and other outlets, and speaks before industry and governmental groups. His degrees are in economics and law.
