Julian Thomas is the Director of the Technology, Communication and Policy Lab at the Digital Ethnography Research Centre at RMIT University. He works on the history and regulation of communications and information technologies. Julian’s recent publications include the Australian Digital Inclusion Index (2016-2018), Internet on the Outstation (Institute of Network Cultures, 2016), and The Informal Media Economy (Polity, 2015).
