John Nay is leading a research project on A Legal Informatics Approach to AI Alignment as a Fellow at Stanford CodeX. John is also the Founder & CEO of Nomos AI and the Co-founder & Chairman of Brooklyn Investment Group.
As a Ph.D. student at Vanderbilt University, he conducted AI research funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation and the U.S. Office of Naval Research. After Vanderbilt, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NYU. As an Adjunct Professor, he created the first AI course at the NYU School of Law.
