I obtained a BA(Mod) from Trinity College, Dublin, an LLB from Rhodes University, South Africa and a DPhil from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. My chief area of research is constitutional law, in particular constitutional reform and am also interested in human rights and Indigenous legal issues. I also have an interest in the history and politics of Zimbabwe.
