Assistant lecturer, University of Ghana Laryea Akwetteh is an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Legon and holds degrees in music and African studies from the same University. He is a scholar and performing artist with a strong interest in the musics of the Ga people of Accra. Akwetteh is currently pursuing a PhD in Ethnomusicology at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto, Canada.
