I research food politics and produce food. I bring diverse groups together to identify practical ways to transition our food systems towards agroecology and food sovereignty. Having worked in more than a dozen countries closer to the equator, I now focus primarily in the UK, with a global perspective. I am an Advisor at the Institute of Development Studies, and a doctoral researcher at the Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR). For several years I produced food at a community project in Brighton and am now starting a new project to produce food and develop skills in agroecology in Somerset.
