Dr. Akilah Jardine (Business/Politics) leads the Rights Lab's work on corporate social responsibility in communities, as part of its Business and Policy Programmes. Her new report, joint with the UK Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, focuses on slavery in UK car-washes. She recently addressed the Scottish Parliament on slavery in supply chains, and gave written and oral evidence to the Environmental Audit Committee in the House of Commons about car-washes.
