I am a Lecturer in Security at the School of IT, The University of Sydney. My research interests are in Mobile Security & Privacy and applied Machine Learning and Data Mining to solve networking problems.
I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of New South Wales, Australia in 2015. Before moving into research, I worked nearly six years as a Telecommunications Engineer for Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka and Alcatel-Lucent, Thailand in Intelligent Networks Planning & Operations. I received my BSc (Hons) degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Telecommunications from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2005 and 2010 respectively.
