Risa Aria Schnebly is a PhD student in the Biology and Society program at Arizona State University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the history of extinction and de-extinction, and the effects of environmental messaging on public ways of thinking about nature, drawing together history of science, conservation psychology, and creative writing.
