Professor of Medicine, Washington University in St Louis I am a Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the Global Health Center at Washington University in St. Louis. I also have a secondary appointment at The George Institute for Global Health, University of New South Wales in Australia. I am a practicing preventive cardiologist, researcher, and educator and have more than a decade of experience in global cardiovascular epidemiology, clinical trials, implementation research, and health policy research and training. My research seeks to improve global cardiovascular health and health care in low- and middle-income countries and to bring lessons learned back to the United States.
