I am currently an instructor in the Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University teaching sociology of food and eating. My work background is in nutrition and public health. The focus of my academic work is food and health environments in rural and remote settings and Indigenous foodways in Canada. I have published several articles on the nutritional composition of Indigenous food as well as book chapters on learning, food and sustainability.
