Associate Professor in Linguistics, The University of Melbourne I'm an expert in Indigenous Australian languages. I have worked with speakers of these languages in Arnhem Land since the mid 1990s in grass-roots organisations such as the Katherine and Ngukurr Aboriginal Language Centres, and as a researcher. I teach about these languages at the University of Melbourne, and have supervised students in documenting these languages first hand.
