Assistant Professor of Political Science, Oklahoma State University Dr. Haruka Nagao teaches and conducts research in the fields of comparative public policy and politics. Her/their research interests include health policy, gender and politics, and Asian politics with a focus on gender and health policy in Asia. Her/their work explores an intersection of gender inequalities, health policies, and public opinion through comparative policy analyses, survey data, and fieldwork interviews. Her/their recent work examines the roles of social networks and health institutional investments in healthcare access inequality in China.
