Dr Evangelia Topriska is Assistant Professor of Architectural Engineering, in the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society in Heriot Watt University, Dubai Campus. She is active in teaching, particularly in the areas of electrical and lighting systems and building services systems.
Her research interests are focused on: hydrogen applications – solar hydrogen for power generation, electrolysis applications in distributed power generation, diversification of energy mix, integration of hydrogen technologies towards energy efficiency in UAE buildings, building energy use benchmarking, weather data analysis and their effect on building energy systems simulations. She is experienced as a researcher in various European Union Projects about energy efficiency in buildings.
Evangelia has published papers in peer review international scientific journals and conferences.
