Senior Research Officer, Murdoch Children's Research Institute Dr Jane Tuckerman is a Senior Research Officer at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute where she works with the Vaccine Uptake group, SAEFVIC (Surveillance of Adverse Events Following Vaccination in the Community) and respiratory groups. Jane holds honorary appointments with The University of Melbourne and the Royal Children’s Hospital. Jane is motivated by research translated into health system and hospital policy changes, in particular supporting vaccine service delivery for prioritised and hard-to reach populations most impacted by health policy. Jane completed a PhD on barriers to influenza vaccination in children medically at-risk and leads a program of research around prioritised and hard-to reach populations and vaccine service delivery. In her research with SAEFVIC, Jane contributes to several clinical studies related to infectious diseases epidemiology including respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and COVID-19.
