Instructor in psychiatry, clinical psychologist and director of training at Lifeline for Kids, UMass Chan Medical School Zlatina Kostova, PhD, is an instructor in psychiatry, a clinical psychologist and director of training at Lifeline for Kids, a trauma training center at UMass Chan for children and families. With a strikingly multidisciplinary and multicultural education, she had specialized in childhood trauma and evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents. Dr. Kostova is an international trainer in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) qualified teacher and she is also a certified trainer for teaching trauma-informed curricula developed by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).
