Professor of English and Creative Writing, University of Adelaide Nicholas Jose’s most recent novel is The Idealist (2023). He is adjunct professor with the Writing and Society Research Centre at Western Sydney University and emeritus professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide. He was general editor of the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature (2009).
