Lecturer in Palaeolithic Archaeology, UCL Ceri works on the Stone Age of the Indian Ocean rim: featuring the prehistories of east Africa, Arabia, India, Wallacea, and northern Sahul. His research interests range from the evolution of human cognition and sociality to the dispersals of Afro-Asiatic and Austronesian languages.
