PhD Candidate in Human Geography, University of Sheffield My PhD is investigating public acceptance of insects as food in the Netherlands and the UK. My main focus is on how currently available insect-based foods are integrating with existing practices of shopping, cooking and eating. I'm also interested in the way in which insects are positioned as a more 'ethical' food source than other animal proteins.
