Assistant Research Scientist in Data Science and Microbiology, University of Florida I am a first-generation Mexican American data scientist and microbiologist at the University of Florida. With a Ph.D. in microbiology, my research focuses on the microbial and molecular factors influencing human development and chronic disease, particularly in pediatrics. I leverage multi-omic datasets to enhance early screening and prevention strategies, with the goal of developing predictive tools for better long-term health outcomes.
