Kendra L. Smith, Ph.D. is a Policy Analyst at the Morrison Institute for Public Policy where she works on a variety of projects relating to civic engagement, economic development, and science & technology.
Previously, Smith served as a Post-Doctoral Scholar in the College of Public Service & Community Solutions and a Research Fellow in the Center of Urban Innovation at Arizona State University. In both capacities, Smith was responsible for furthering each entity’s research agenda of better understanding public sector challenges and developing solutions. Also an educator, Smith has enjoyed years of teaching and now actively mentors graduate students and new professionals.
Smith earned her Ph.D. in the School of Community Resources and Development at Arizona State University. She also has a Masters in Public of Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma.
