Lecturer, Theatre Programme, Te Herenga Waka — Victoria University of Wellington James Wenley is a Pākehā theatre academic, practitioner and critic. James was awarded a PhD from the University of Auckland and is a Lecturer in the Theatre programme of Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington. James makes theatre under his company Theatre of Love, and is the editor and founder of TheatreScenes.co.nz, a platform for reviews and commentary on Aotearoa theatre. His book, Aotearoa New Zealand Theatre in the Global Theatre Marketplace: Travelling Theatre (2021), is published by Routledge.
