PhD Candidate in Public Health, Nottingham Trent University I am a PhD student and part-time lecturer in Public Health at Nottingham Trent University. I taught nursery to secondary pupils for over 25 years and worked as an Assistant Head Teacher of an Infant School for 9 years. I also founded and Chair a charity which operates in rural Uganda which helps to improve the lives of women and girls through education and social enterprise projects. My interests concern gender and global health.
